Sharing Folders
From Projectivity Documentation
It is possible to share a folder between two workspaces. This feature enables well defined information flows. Let's take the case where two workspaces called "Requirement Analysis" and "Design" where the output artefacts of the former (the requirements document) is the input of the latter.
In this case we can give read access to the Requirements Document from the Design workspace by sharing the folder. When the user shares a folder he/she has to specify the workspace to share it to. As a consequence, the users assigned to the target workspace will find the shared folder in that workspace (own) Document Explorer. When sharing a folder, the user can specify a security modifier which can limit the permissions on shared documents and folders:
| Security Modifier | Description |
|---|---|
| Write | Users can access shared documents and folders. |
| Read Only | Users can access shared documents and folders in read only mode, regardless of their access level. |
| File Only | Users can access only the documents in the shared folder and not the nested folders. |
| File Only - Read Only | User can access only the documents in the shared folder in read only mode and not the nested folders. |
