Resource Reports

The following image shows the user report creation page.
You need to specify the following information:
General Section
- Report Title: Title of the report to generate
- Defined frequency to auto-generate report: you can here specify if the report should be generated automatically and sent you via email (check that you set your email address in your profile!) and also the auto-generation frequency (daily, weekly or monthly)
- Report Language: You may want to generate the report in a language different than yours
- Resource: Here you specify the resource to generate the report about
Customize Section
- Time frame: optional field, only the resource's projects in the specified time frame will be included
- Role: optional field, only the resource's projects where the specified resource plays the specified role will be included
The following images show an example user report. First page contains general information about the report such as title, generation date and report parameters.
After the following details are shown:
- Total Workload: the resource total workload in the following timewindow: 1 week in the past to 3 weeks in the future
- Total Effort by Role: a pie chart showing the resource percentage allocation by role: it is an indicator of the skill of the resource
- Total Effort by Role over time: a chart that show the resource effort in the last year: it is an indicator of the skill evolution of the resource
After for each project where the resource is assigned to (and selected by the report filters) a Gantt like table is shown with the resource role, effort in each activity compared to total date. For each activity the planned vs actual completion rate is also shown.
