Project Reports

The following image shows the project report creation page.

You need to specify the following information:
General Section
- Report Title: Title of the report to generate
- Defined frequency to auto-generate report: here you can specify if the report should be generated automatically and sent you via email (check that you have set your email address in your profile!), and also the auto-generation frequency (daily, weekly or monthly)
- Report Language: you may want to generate the report in a language different than yours
- Workspace root: here you can specify a workspace (note that only the projects under this workspace will be included in the report)
Customize Section
- Time frame: optional field, only the projects in the specified time frame will be included
- Specify completion rate: optional field, only the projects with the specified completion rate will be included
- Choose the resource role: optional field, only the projects where the specified resource plays the specified role will be included
The following 3 images show an example project report. Page 1 contains general information about the report such as title, generation date and report parameters. After, and for each project(s), the following details are shown:
- planned vs actual total completion with a big icon summarizing the status of the project: on time, late, very late
- project attributes
- project classification: i.e. the name of the project parent workspaces which implicitly defines the project scope
- completion status details: all activities actual vs estimated completion rate, start and end date and total planned effort
- resource and roles: list of assigned resources with roles
- resource allocation status: details about resource allocation to all activities highlighting allocation requirements and actual allocation
First page of the Project reports contains the report attributes such as title, generation date, parameters and filters.
